Hotel was nice but I learned that some hotels in the Airport South Zone may be quite a distance from the airport entrance (this hotel was about 20 min away). Hotel staff explained that prior to the airport expansion it was a more direct route. If you want to be close to the airport for an early flight, the north zone may be more convenient. Used the Better Bidding PRICELINE EXPRESS link.

The RateDrop feature alerted me to a significant decrease in the PRICELINE EXPRESS rate for this zone on a busy weekend! Used the Better Bidding PRICELINE EXPRESS link and May Better Bidding Priceline Coupon.

I only had 15 minutes notice of a trip so did not do much research. In hindsight, I could have booked for about the same price from the hotel website. Hotel staff members were all wonderful, hot breakfast was nice, room was clean and bed comfortable. However, to me the building itself is more of a 2.5 star property (popcorn ceilings, elevator tiny and slow, dated carpet and drapes, etc.). They do have smoking rooms but will assign non-smoking unless smoking is requested. Common area used for breakfast and cocktail hour is large but does get crowded (soccer tournament participants).

Amenities: Free Parking, Swimming Pool, Business Center, Non-smoking, Outdoor Pool.

Initially, it listed "Room Choice" but that did not appear on the booking page. Breakfast was not listed but is complimentary as well as a "cocktail hour."

"New" 3 1/2 * hotel in this zone. Based on the address (6070 North Central Expressway) this property is a former Holiday Inn, recently re-opened. Looking forward to the stay, great location for our needs.

My sister booked this but I wanted to post just for information. One night, two rooms. Used PRICELINE EXPRESS hoping to get this hotel based on previous posts. Convenient for a concert at a local casino and the hotel provides shuttle service. Saved 33% vs hotel website (with taxes, etc.). Love this website, thanks!

Bid through the Better Bidding [url=http://www.betterbidding.com/clicks/click.php?afsrc=1&id=40]PRICELINE[/url] link over a few days. Received counter offers, etc. Finally accepted at $57. Good 3* in the Seaworld area.

After bidding over a few days, received the San Antonio Marriott Riverwalk for $85. Busy weekend in San Antonio so pleased with the result. Renovations are almost complete, the hotel was great.

Used the Priceline link for all my bids.

I used Priceline Express because there is a higher rated hotel in this zone that I did not want get on an "upgrade." Amenities listed pool, pet friendly, fitness center, free parking, airport shuttle, free internet, breakfast and business center, 8+ rating. Also had a "bed choice" option. Reviews on Trip Advisor are great, looking forward to checking out this relatively new hotel.

I believe this hotel listed pool, restaurant, fitness center, parking, internet, breakfast, business center and bed choice.  Bed choice gave me the suite option and multiple beds.

The option I did not select had pool, fitness center, parking, internet and breakfast and at the time was a few dollars more. Just went with the bed choice option.

This should be in the TX - Houston (Atascocita) area but it defaulted to this. New zone win I think.

I booked this a couple of weeks ago and at that time two hotels, both 2 1/2 stars, were listed in this zone. This one allowed a bed choice with 2 queens and a sofabed so I booked it. We have stayed here before and it is a nice hotel in an area with few options. The price has gone down since I booked and the other hotel has dropped from the offering list (my guess is the new Holiday Inn Express). We are months away so I probably could have waited a few months but needed something definitive for a Christmas gathering.

Total price for 2 nights, with taxes and fees $198.20
