I started with a $90 bid, it came back and said if I bid $23 more I would win the bid, I chose not to do that. Instead I went back changed my stars down from 3.5 to 3, bid $100 and got the 3.5 Marriott Anaheim Suites.
Also, I had tried and failed to win a bid the previous 2 days, and this morning I had a 7% off coupon for "name my own price" to try again. So I feel like I got a pretty good deal.
