  1. Booked! Ended up with the 3 star Kissimmee west condo (Polynesian Isles)

Really excited about this find! 100% recommended via hotwire and 4.5 on tripadvisor.

3 nights came to $276 + taxes of $54.70, for a total of $330.70. There is a $10 a day resort which resort will collect upon check in, that will bring it all to about $370.

So it ends up being $124 a night total (including resort fee and taxes)

Excited, and used the HOTWIRE link here, made sure the referral was showing.

On to book the first half of the trip.

  2. Yup decided to split it, conference to attend at the convention center, and can take the little one to disney afterwards.

I think staying at the disney one (2nd leg) for 6 nights may get a bit tiring for us the adults :-)

BTW, that maize and blue M always make me go "uuuuuugh", every time I see it here. I'm a Spartan :-)

    Top 2 here are

  6. Thanks! I just added the prices.

My ticket is already bought, so will definitely be in town for that period.

We have a conference to attend near Universal area, so I thought it may be a good idea to stay in that area then, and then near Disney later. Will have a rental car so commuting isnt an issue, just figured it may add more excitement to stay in 2 different places, and focus on activities in that area.

Using the List now to check the Hotels

the Disney Springs $67 appears to be Holiday Inn Resort

Disney Springs $89 Grande Villas, or Embassy Suites

Kissimmee West 1 bedroom appears to Fantasy World or Polynesian. Its hard to determine.

Kissimmee West 2 bedroom appears to be Legacy

Disney Maingate appears to be Holiday Inn

Please also include the room rate per nite as it will make it easier for us to locate the same hotel among the offers.

What will be the determining factor in deciding if you split your stay or not?  For what dates (and number of rooms/adults/children) are the offers above for?

Have you checked the Hotwire Hotel List for matches for any of the hotels you listed above?

Please remember to return to BetterBidding and use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPSandHOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases.

Thanks! I just added the prices.

    Thanks so much!!

  11. I really wanted this because of the free wifi/parking/location

Going to an event in Westchase and didnt want to stay in hotels there, so needed something close by.

Started off at $30, with Galleria 3.5* and up

Raised it to $35, and added 3*, not accepted

Added Katy (free rebid zone), and raised it to $40

    ACCEPTED!

reviews look great! very modern!!! I used betterbidding PRICELINE link! :)

Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $40.00

    Subtotal: $80.00

    Taxes & Fees: $21.32

    Total Charges*: $101.32

Price for that time period on their website is $278 TOTAL! (friday is $94, and sat is $141), saved over 64%!!!! :)

  12. Used link on this board

    Jul 1-3 Boston

Economy (National), though I'll try to get an upgrade, they hardly ever have Economy cars anyway

    $111 total incl taxes

I've been tryin to get a car for the last few days

I started at about 15 :) even though kayak has it at $123/day and hotwire's lowest price is $127 for 2 days total

I finally got one on priceline at $40 with a total of $111 so thats $16 cheaper than hotwire and less than a 1day thru kayak

Boston is expensive because its a weekday and its right before the holiday weekend!

  13. I used the PRICELINE link here

just wanted any hotel in the boston area for a midweek 2 day trip (jul 1-3)

so started with 2 star at $35 and kept adding regions, and increasing by $2, bid was accepted for $48

Best Western Terrace Inn 2 Star

    Brighton - Brookline

its 1-5miles from many places so I'm happy about it, and looks like a decent hotel with free wireless and parking!

Total is $116.34 which is waaaaaaaaaay less than their lowest rate on website at $280 total

  14. I used the savingsbarn link

Priceline has it as a 1*, but Orbitz has it as a 2*

I've stayed at ESA in another city so it works great for me since I'll be like for barely 2days, and will hardly be there. I've a car, plus a early flight out that I cant afford to miss.

Started with 40, 3*, rejected, selected 2.5* rejected for $42, rejected with 2*, threw in 1* star and got it for $43

    Your Offer Price: $43.00

    Extend Your Stay

    Number of Rooms: 1

    Number of Nights: 2

    Subtotal: $86.00

    Taxes & Service Fees:

    $18.81

    Total Charges*: $104.81

  15. Ok I started off with $70 for 6/17-6/18, with 2.5*,didnt get it, I then also added 2* and had price at $75 didnt get anything, then I had $80 and added 1* (JC doesnt have 1), and got the Doubletree for $80+tax. On their website they had it at $189, and hotwire didnt have it listed. I was offered extend a night, but didnt need to

    So I'm all set :)

Friday 1st night, staying at Courtyard Marriott ($14 parking)

Sat 2nd night staying at Doubletree ($10 parking)

They are right next to each other so thats great :)

Rental car is $13/day so thats not bad, another reason why I wanted to fly into Newark and not La Guardia.

Thanks guys, I used the savingsbarn link

  16. wow 15-20mins walk...hmmm well I really dont have to rent a car. I can get one friend to pick me up from airport friday and drop me off sat. It would be convenient for him as he lives in Jersey City anyway. My other friend in NY was going to rent a car anyway, its to go to a wedding in Queens. I havent booked it yet, last time I rented a car in NYC, I was able to get about $60 a day.

So yeah on a 2nd note thereuare, I really dont need to rent a car :)
