Okay, I think I made a mistake that I will have to live with. I bid $60 and got the Radisson. It doesn't look bad, but I will always wonder if I could have got it for less.
Thanks for your time.
I would really like to stay near the airport (O'Hare) and would be okay with NMA.
I am bidding for the O'Hare area, and used NMA to get other bids in.
Bid $50 at a 3*
Bid $55 by adding NMA
Bid $60 by adding Greater Chicago
Bid $62 by adding 2.5*
There is at least one hotel listed for $107. Not sure why things aren't working out. Do you need more info to help.
Thanks.
We are going to be doing several things. Some in Chicago and some west of there. I know we will also rent a car. I have been looking at the airport area, because it is kind of in the middle of everything we are doing. I'm not sure about the safety there.
The prices listed don't seem too bad, but I can't get a bite on Priceline. We are not fancy so a 2.5* would do if the area is not bad. I'm not even sure where I should start the bidding. We are spending 3 days so, I would like to stay around the $75 max range if possible.
We are going to be in Chicago from June 22-25. I am looking into hotels, but know nothing about the areas. Are there areas we should avoid? Any opinions would be very helpful.
Thanks in advance.
There isn't one that I am aware of. I know the super bowl will be there 2 weeks later.
I started last week with 3* DT Miami $60
Added North Miami $65
Added Southwest Miami $70
I followed that same pattern (each day) unitl I reached $100
Yesterday 2.5* DT Miami $85
Added North Miami $90
Today 2* $90
All rejected.
Okay, I have been trying price line for DT Miami 1-20-07. I am getting no where. I am up to $80 for a 2 star. Well over a hundred for 2.5 and up. Any suggestions?

Okay, we got the Radisson in the O'Hare area it is listed on Priceline as a 2.5*, but several sites have it as a 3*. We got the bid for June 22-25 for $60 a night. We went through Savings Barn to start.
