  1. There are only 2 4-star hotels in Buffalo, so the chances were between The Westin and The Hyatt Regency.

There is also a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal for $117 for a 4-star hotel in DT Buffalo.

    Bid 1, $90, declined

    Bid 2, $95, declined

    Bid 3, $100, declined

    Bid 4, $105, declined

    Bid 5, $110, WON !

Guaranteed Amenities:Pets Allowed, Restaurant, Fitness Center, Business Center, Guest Score 8/10 or Higher

Price listed on hotel website $203.

  2. One King West Hotel is at Yonge and King. Yonge is the main street that divided Toronto into west and east. Since its exactly right in the middle I dont believe it could be classified as DT East or DT West. I would be just "Downtown".

One King West is a condo building where the owners rent out their units as hotel rooms.

It definitely doesnt have a pool, it was built into a historic building. The building is also very narrow, and couldnt accomodate a pool.

Pet friendly? Well you will not find a park or a patch of grass nearby, concrete everywhere.

On Priceline, One King West falls into "Downtown Toronto South" area.

  3. 3.5* (MIA Airport) Courtyard Miami Airport South

    $130 ... 11/16/13 - 11/17/13

I really wasnt sure what I was going to get this time.

    - Was bidding from around $70 adding $5 everytime, exhausting free rebids.

    - Had to wait and then bidded from $100 adding $5 everytime and almost exhausting free bids.

    room $130 :(

    tax/fee $26.19

    total $156.19

    - Regular price on hotel web site was $144.

    - Little savings of 10%

    - There was an EXPRESS DEAL for 3.5* for $120 at MIA on 11/8/13. Prices have definitely gone up in the last 2 days for the upcoming weekend.

  4. 3.5* Miami (Downtown) B2 Miami

    $90 ... 11/23/13- 11/24/13

Was bidding on the 3.5* EXPRESS DEAL on priceline listed at $100 at Downtown Miami.

    - Refused bids up to $85

    - Accepted bid at $90

    - This wasnt the hotel I was interested in, hahaha, just my luck again, but should be good enough for 1 night, however its in a perfect location.

    - Just worried about the small bathrooms and rooms, but really I shouldnt, as we're staying there after one cruise and before another the next day. As long as its not smaller then our ship cabins.

    room $90

    tax/fee $20.19

    total $110.19

    - Regular price on hotel web site was $189

    - Savings of 52%

I still have to book a night for 11/16/13 - 11/16/17/13 and that weekend seems to be terribly expensive with DT area being sold out.

  5. 3* Miami (MIA Airport) Courtyard Miami Airport South

    $75 ... 12/1/13 - 12/3/13

Was bidding on the 2.5* EXPRESS DEAL on priceline listed at $105 at Miami International Airport which I believed to be Comfort Suites Miami Airport North.

    - First bid was $75.

    - First bid was accepted.

    - Was upgraded to the 3* Marriott Miami Airport South

    room $75 x 2

    tax/fee $29.18

    total $179.18

    - Regular price on hotel web site was $149 + $139 for the 2 nights.

    - There was an EXPRESS DEAL for 3* for $90 at MIA.

    - I was really hoping for the 2.5* Comfort Suites because of free parking and living room in suite.

    - Yes I did bid too high, but this is a post-cruise stay and would have not been able to bid closer to the date.

    - Savings of 48%

Also in a follow up email, priceline offered car rentals with these prices.

    Economy - 17

    Compact - 17

    Mid-Size - 19

    Full-Size - 20

Standard - 20 - This is the bid I won earlier in the week.

    Midsize SUV - 22

    Premium - 26

    Standard SUV - 33

    Minivan - 36

    Convertible - 37
