On :) my second try I got two rooms at the Courtyard for $50/night each..I'm happy :) :o
Hit it the first time around..I've stayed there before ... this is a good deal.
Sorry... my error. It's the Holiday Inn in the middle of the Business district. I've stayed there before -- It's very adaquate.
2* Cumberland, $69 ... 9/26/08 - 9/28/08
First try was $65 for a 4* downtown -- no takers. Second try was for a 3* and it worked at $65 plus fees. the internet price for a room at this hotel for this date iss $229.
My original bid was for a 2* at $59. From past experince I knew that rooms in Annapolis were hard to come by on a Saturday night during football season. this was not only a football weekend but also Homecoming. The accepted my first bid and changed my star rating to a 3* -- the Sheraton. It's a deal.
I had earlier tried for the weekend (8/27) for a 4* in Millenium Park or N. Michigan Ave -- no luck. this bid worked on first try -- $79 plus $19 tax, total $98.
I don't usually have much luck with rooms in Annapolis especially from April through Sept or so. My first bid wa acceptd for a 2 1/2 * in the Annapolis general area which is to the west of the waterfront. I like Courtyards, never had a sub-par one and this was not an exception. worked out fine.
7/22 to 7/23, one night, one room. Bid price $57, taxes $14; total $71.
We stayed there on a Tuesday night -- 7/12-7/13
Never saw this happen before but my first bid was $59 for a 2 1/2* in South Portland. Priceline came back with "you got your bid, and we're upgrading you to a 3* in S. Portland -- the Sheraton". We stayed there one night -- it was a deal. every bit a 3*.
Bid price $59. Taxes & fees $12. Total charge $71
I got this one on my first bid which was made about two weeks prior to my reservation date. Annapolis from April through Octobet is tough. Yesterday I tried to get another room for a friend for the same date and went up to $65 for a 2* with no takers.
this is an Air Force Academy football game night and most hotels were not available. I thought this is a very good price.
bid accepted - 9/11 - 9/13 -- $62/ 4* - Sheraton Skyline @ Heathrow. Website price - $155 :)
