Got late in booking the room I feel, hence paid a little more. Started with $80 and once i touched $120 it gave me a counteroffer of $143. I knew a win was round the corner, bingo at $128.
Came to a total of $449 incl taxes for 3 nights, I think about 23% off Hilton's and other sites' rates. Not bad :)

Finally booked my Singapore hotel on Hotwire. My first time at Hotwire and was nervous, but thanks to Betterbidding.com I knew it would be Royal Plaza on Scotts.
Had tried multiple Priceline bids for a 5* hotel in Orchard & Marina bay area upto SGD 205 (USD 165) my max budget, but no luck. So settled for RP @ Hotwire.
Would the hotel be able to confirm a double bed rather than a twin bed? For people who have used Hotwire, just wanted to know that hotels don't treat bidders as 2nd class right??

Booked this with certainty that I would get a very good hotel... and I did! Swissotel The Stamford at $118 per night was a damn good deal!
