As you suggested, I connected to PRICELINE via your link above, searching for Dec 13-16. I checked HOTWIRE first and the price for a 4 Star was $144. I started bidding at $110 and went up by $5 each bid, they accepted $130 and to my surprise it was the Westin Jersey City! I thought it would be the Sheraton Weehawkin. It offered me an extra night so I tried the day before but that was rejected. I may stay at EWR as that is cheaper for 1 night.

I think it may be the same hotel despite the difference in the rating and amenities. For four nights it is $161 US and for three nights it is $142.

What is a free re-bid area?

I am wondering if you can help identify two hotels for Hoboken-Jersey City-North Bergen? Or, they may be the same hotel but have a slightly different description if I change the dates.

If I put in Dec 12-16, 4 star, I get $163.83 and 90% Customer Reviews with the following amenities:
