I appreciate the advice. My Midwestern parents are not big travelers and even though it's on the soggy side I hope it will be a nice getaway for them. Thanks for sharing your knowledge of the area.
Thanks WillTravel. I was hoping you would respond. As I looked at other messages I could tell you knew a ton about Victoria travel. Thanks again for sharing your advice.
I'm new at this site and I love it's usefulness. I live in a seattle suburb. My Midwest parents are going to visit me for a week around Thanksgiving. They want to go on a small trip and I would love to suggest Victoria B.C. Does anyone have some advice on what I should bid for a 4 star hotel for Nov. 21-23, 2005. In the reports I see prices ranging from $70 to $115. Does anyone know if I have a shot at $75 for a 4 star hotel?
thanks
I live in a Seattle Suburb and I'm trying to help my parent set up an affordable stay in Victoria, B.C from Nov. 21-23, 2005.
On the posts reporting prices for 4 star hotels in Victoria I see winning bids that are anywhere from $70 to $115. My guess is that it depends on the season. Does anyone know what I should bid for a 4 star hotel during the week a few days before thanksgiving. Is this a big tourist time and am I going to have to pay the higher dollar amount or will I be able to get if for the lower dollar amount?
Thanks for any advice you can give.
