I constantly get the same room in the same hotel this summer but monday, tuesday & wednesday it makes me wait, to win the bid late afternoon and only for one day. Is there any suggestions that someone might have or insight on how the communication process between priceline and the hotel works?

I have just gotten stuck with a 3 star, that is aweful. I have never gotten stuck with a hotel that is clearly not a 3 star, it was not on the list and somehow snuck into an area that I always bid on.. Is this happening all over?
