Two things made me think it was the Gran Melia. I understand that the El Con has closed its casino. Also, a regular price of $141 seemed too low for it. I'd love for it to be the El Con,though.

We are wanting to stay at the El Conquistador April 28 - May 3. Our concern is that with a Priceline bid we'll end up at the Gran Melia instead. From other reviews, it seems like Gran Melia is having bed bug problems, so we really don't want to end up there. Any suggestions on bidding? If we bid a higher amount- say the $160 range are we more likely to end up with the El Conquistador or Las Casitas? Just not sure how the Priceline system works. Thanks!
