I ended up booking the Intercontinental Barclay through the website for this trip. Cost was 210 per night taxes in. 

Received this hotel at a killer price. It was showing as 142 Canadian (I believe it was 121 USD) per night.

I would prefer MTE only because I have been to different hotels (including Holiday Inn in Chelsea and the Doubletree in Chelsea) and I want to get the big city experience this time which I think the Intercontinental or Hyatt (or similar 4 stars in that area) can provide.

Been a long time browser on the site but never actually booked a trip since I've noticed the site.

Well the time has come! I am looking to book two rooms in New York City from August 9th to August 12th (3 nights). I would love the Grand Hyatt or Intercontinental. I can get a rate of 200$/nightly per room for either hotel through promo's or Expedia. What would be the most realistic bid to aim for?
