Well my "backup" hotel was the Park Shore in Waikiki for $170. I booked it and everything (refundable, of course). I was quite determined to rid myself of this after reading about it---definitely not worth it at that price. I've been bidding on Priceline for a few weeks now. I'm guessing the high prices for rooms must have something to do with decreased availability which I attribute to a weak dollar and many international tourists, but I could be wrong.
Anyways, I rid myself of the Park Shore just a few hours ago and found a private travel agent in Hawaii (I just googled it) and got the Ohana Waikiki West for $80 a night! I'm quite relieved...
I'm trying to get a hotel in honolulu, waikiki north or south for 08/18-22. This is what I did:
I checked Waikiki North
checked 2.5*
bid $80
then it was rejected
checked Waikiki South
bid $85
rejected
Should I pay more for 2.5*? Or should I look elsewhere?

How do I change the title? An administrator combined my three posts but I need to change the title since it doesn't make sense. Or how do I delete the post and repost? Thanks!
