Interestingly, I stayed at this same hotel last week but got it as a 2.5* through Hotwire for $48/night plus taxes and fees, and I had considered doing that again. Overall, this is a fairly decent hotel. It has an indoor pool and free hot breakfast, which is always a plus, and all of the rooms have kitchenettes. For $10 less than I paid last time, I certainly can't complain! :)

Started with a $30 bid for a 2* in Clearlake-Nassau Bay and was rejected, suggested increase was $8. Added Downtown Houston (figuring that there would be nothing that cheap downtown) and increased my bid to $35, which was accepted for the 2* Extendedstay America Houston NASA. In addition, I think I may have received an upgrade when I arrived, because the room I ended up with was a one bedroom suite with 2 double beds.
Started with $35 for 2.5* in Arlington - Grand Prairie and was rejected, suggested increase was $9. Increased bid to $40 and added DFW Airport South (my second geographic choice) and was accepted and upgraded to 3* at Radisson DFW South.

I had previously bid $45, $50, $53, and $56 for a 3* in this area using available rebids with no luck. I came back today starting at $60 and won the Sirata Beach Resort on my first try! The same hotel for these dates appears to be going for $79/night + taxes/fees on Hotwire, and the lowest price on the Sirata website is $104/night + taxes/fees.
