Geez...I'm at
$14 Economy
$20 Compact
$22 Mid-Size
all too low...just found out though that there is some convention in town...Dentist or something like that...also screwing with my hotel bids. :)
I did find a coupon for Budget though that can get me compact at the airport for $382 and change versus Priceline lowest non bid price right now is $359 for Fox..(never heard of it plus have to take a shuttle and counter is not in terminal)
Lowest in terminal rental is $464 so my coupon beats Priceline (go figure)
am I doing something wrong or are these days just in high demand..???
( I think I answered my own question with the convention thing..lol)
Pickup at Avis in Renton with drop off SEATAC I can find a decent rate on but then I have to take a cab there (not far though..2-3 miles)..might be the way to go..
I just got 3* YVR Airport (Richmond) Holiday Inn on Cambie Rd for $70/night between 07/22-07/26
I had tried 3* before at $65/night and got declined and instead of wasting more time and needing extra days to try raising in increments of $1/night I just went to $70...I've read people getting it for $50-$55 but those reviews were written on dates that correspond with low/shoulder season so I guess I did ok and parking is only $8/night. I've seen some postings on here for 3* hotels in this area and price range with $16-$20 parking..... according to reviews WIFI is free..
Regardless...normal retail is a whopping $142/night
So anyway you cut it...good savings by going the name your own price route.
4* Seattle (Downtown-Pike Place) Sheraton
