Hotwire Hotel: Recommendations 2 x single rooms Central Manhattan

I would be grateful for any recommendations - looking for 2 hotel rooms, single occupancy, May 5th - 8th, approximately 3.5 star with refrigerator if possible.  I have searched on Hotwire but obviously loads to choose from and not sure what would be best.  Budget c. $180 per night, ideally close to a subway.

A refrigerator as a standard amenity for a 3.5* hotel is going to be far and few between.  You may be able to request one be brought to your room if the hotel has them available, but typically if there is a refrigerator it's going to be filled mini-bar items that the hotel prefers you buy from them.

==> best guess would be the Iberostar 70 Park Avenue Hotel... this would be 4 blocks from Grand Central (where you can get various subway lines) and about a 10 minute walk to Herald Square where you can pick up other subway lines that don't stop at Grand Central; i would think this would be a good location from not being in the center of Times Square (often seen as an advantage) while still giving you good access to all parts of the city via subway

 

Thoughts on this one?  Seems to be well within your budget, higher star rating then you originally were seeking, and looks to be a good rate this time of year (as this is during the peak Spring season)
