fenrir
Good afternoon, Better Bidding! I am looking to add a couple days onto my Easter trip to Vegas (4/10-4/12), and a couple of these 5* North Strip Area properties are coming up around 200-250/night. I think this is a decent deal, considering it's the weekend and even the budget hotels are charging 150-180 per night for these dates. Let me know if you don't think this is worth it, though. Could someone please help me identify the following properties? *ETA: $187/night, looks like Trump, but *mind blown* when someone posted they have Palazzo for this set; are we sure they were pasting the right amenities? I thought Trump was easily identified by "pet friendly" and no "Casino." As a gambler, I do not want the Trump or any non-casino hotel but would be delighted with Palazzo:Free parkingFree InternetSpa servicesResortPet friendlySmoke-free roomsFitness centerPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business centerInternet accessGolf nearbyTennis nearbyKitchenette $211/night:Free parkingFree InternetResortSuiteCasinoFitness centerPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business centerInternet accessGolf nearbyTennis nearbySpa servicesAccessible for visually impairedAccessible for hearing impairedAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityAccessible bathroomAccessible parkingRoll-in shower $217/night: Looks like Venetian with the self-laundry, or the Wynn?Free parkingFree InternetResortSuiteCasinoFitness centerPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business centerSelf-service laundryInternet accessGolf nearbyTennis nearbySpa servicesAccessible for visually impairedAccessible for hearing impairedAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityAccessible bathroomAccessible parkingRoll-in shower $277/night:Free parkingSuiteCasinoFitness centerPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business centerInternet accessGolf nearbySpa servicesAccessible for hearing impairedAccessible path of travelIn-room accessibilityAccessible bathroomAccessible parkingRoll-in shower Thank you! thereuare
... but *mind blown* when someone posted they have Palazzo for this setDo you recall where you saw this? Link to the thread? My best guess for each: $187 --> Trump $211/night --> Palazzo $217/night --> Venetian $277/night: --> Encore Las Vegas I will be sure to post anything that I book on Hotwire. Please post whatever you decide to do for this stay (even if not PRICELINE / HOTWIRE, you decided to book a 'named' hotel, cancel the trip, etc) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. fenrir
Thanks so much for your prompt response, thereuare. I'll be sure to follow up here, regardless. Here is the thread where someone posted about getting Palazzo for the Trump amenity set, particularly post #3: 5* Las Vegas Link to comment
thereuare
The amenities in post #3 of the thread you referenced don't match those of the Trump (nor the Palazzo)... the user 'free hand' typed the amenities and left some out. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
fenrir
Prices skyrocketed literally right after I posted here (into the $600 range for two nights, without resort fee), so I did not use Hot.wire and instead ended up booking a nightclub+late check out promotion at Mandalay Bay for $480 on the same dates. Wanted to try their pool anyway so it worked out. Thanks for your help; I had a bit of sticker shock when I got to the total screen. Link to comment
