Hotelfinder15
I'm searching a room for 2 persons for 3 nights in NYC (05/16/15 until 05/19/15). Now it's our first try to find a great offer via priceline or hotwire. Due to this we see on Priceline's express deals a 4 Star Hotel in Madison Square Garden - Convention Area for $221. Can you help us to ID the referenced hotel or with a bidding strategy for:3,5* or betterpreferably Central Park South, Empire State Building Area, Midtwon East, Midtown West, Madison Square Garden and Times Squarebudget: $250 all in per night, less would be greatWhat kind of strategy is likely the one with the biggest success? Thank for your help!Greetings from Germany Link to comment
thereuare
preferably Central Park South, Empire State Building Area, Midtwon East, Midtown West, Madison Square Garden and Times SquareOf the zones above, note that ESB, MTW, MSG, and TS are all generally considered to be convenient and well located. However you may want to include/exclude the following zones (for reasons described... you'll need to determine if these are deal breakers for you): CPS - has the Hudson Hotel with notoriously small rooms MTE - some hotels can be up to a 10-15 minute walk to the subway (it's a nice walk in May then it is in February, but some prefer a more convenient location) In addition to the above, you may want to consider Chelsea, which while some hotels can be up to a 10 minute walk to the subway, but this is a 'hot' area right now with many restaurants, bars, cafes, clubs, boutiques, etc. that it is still considered to be a very desirable area. Let us know your thoughts on the zones and we'll take it from there, although i do see a 4* hotel in the MSG zone for $181/nite which i believe to be the Wyndham New Yorker... not the best hotel in NYC, but a fantastic location, and is well within your target budget. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know your thoughts and how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
