kevin_b_bran
Hello, First time on the site. Was wondering if I could get help with a plan for a hotel in NY July 3rd - July 8th. I was needing to get two rooms with two twin beds. I was hoping not to pay more than 160 a night (haha) Would be awesome if it was a 4* or higher. Looking to stay in Midtown East/Madison Square Garden or Central Park South What do you think?Possible? Thank you for the feedback, KB Link to comment
thereuare
I was needing to get two rooms with two twin beds.Welcome to BetterBidding! How many adults/children do you need accommodations for? Are you more than double occupancy per room OR are there two guests per room but they would rather not share a bed? PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request (especially in NYC where hotels have a high percentage of rooms with only one bed and rooms with two beds are often considered an upgrade and cost extra). If this is not a risk you're willing to accept, HOTWIRE would still be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc) Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. Let us know the information above and your thoughts and we'll advise accordingly. kevin_b_bran
I see. It would be Room 1: Two adults and Two small children. Room 2: Two Adults and One child. Would I still be able to get a good deal using Hot.wire instead of Price.line? Thank you again for your help, KB Link to comment

AaronJB
When I search for 2 rooms, 4 adults, 3 children, I'm seeing a 4* in MTE for $185 w/Boutique, Restaurant, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Blind Accessible, Deaf Accessible, Travel Accessible, Room Accessible, Bathroom Accessible, Roll-in Shower. If you repeat your search using our Bidding.Helper.com tool... use the HOTWIRE EASY VIEW tab and then click the GREEN BUTTON next to this listing, do you see more amenities then what you have listed above? If you see the amenities that I noticed above, I'd guess the Lexington. If you don't see the above amenities, let us know. Thank you for using the board's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment

thereuare
Please keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread. Best guess for the 4.5* MTC property above would be the Warwick, upgraded to the 4.5* level since the last time it was reported to the board.
