thereuare Posted January 24, 2015 Report Share Posted January 24, 2015 As i often mention to most NYC visitors, you will spend far less time in Times Square than you think and while i wouldn't avoid staying in Times Square, i would sooner look at a convenient location nearby where you can easily get there as well as to other points of the city. My suggestion would be to look at the 4.5* hotel in the Empire State Building zone that is offered for $238/nite (comes to $1502 all-in but the $20 off using the link in my signature takes this under your budget ;) ). This offer has the following amenities: Free Internet Fitness Business Laundry Hi-Speed Internet ... my best guess for this property would be St. Giles - The Tuscany, which if correct, is just 3 blocks from Grand Central which will give you easy access to just about any point in the city, as well as a very short subway ride to Times Square (if you didn't feel like walking which would be about a 10-15 minute walk). Should this be some other property you're still assured of an excellent property given the 4.5/5.0 TA rating. Does this work for your needs?
