LwoodPDowd
Was looking for one night if I found it cheap enough. I had seen $80 on PRICELINE EXPRESS for a 3.5 Star near Madison Square Garden, but when I went to buy it was gone. I used the PRICELINE link from the better bidding front page. I was in a hurry so I didn't have time to get the best possible deal (people were complaining so I only had time for two bids at most), selected almost half of the areas in Manhattan between Wall Street and Central Park South, bid $75 and got this hotel. Base: $75.00 Taxes: $23.67 Total: $98.67 Interestingly I was given an option in the confirmation email to book an additional night at the same rate. I don't know if it would work and I didn't need it, but that would be WAY lower than the New Years Eve rate. Link to comment
thereuare
Congratulations on your success! Glad to see you scored a great deal on this property and are pleased with the purchase, enabling you to stay a nite in Manhattan on the cheap! I'm fairly certain any attempt to add an additional would have been declined, or counter-offered with a more realistic rate for the date (like 3x the rate of this nite!) Thank you for sharing your win and using the PRICELINE links on the board to begin your bidding. Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
