OhioTraveler740
It only list 4 amenities even under "see more" Free Internet Fitness center Restaurant(s) Internet access I see Langham Place listed under the pinned list of hotels but nothing on the board. Would it be your guess? Link to comment
thereuare
With only 10 reviews by previous HOTWIRE guests this is likely a new hotel recently added to their system, and with this limited set of amenities (which are likely common to most 5* hotels in NYC), i don't have any insight into this one. Is there something in particular you're looking for from this stay? OhioTraveler740
Ahh that is disappointing but thank you. I've stayed at most of the boutique hotels offered by hotwire and was looking for something a bit different. The Langham is the #10 rated TA hotel in all of NYC, though it would be a great opportunity and an extraordinary rate. It is on your pinned list though as the only 5* in that zone? Link to comment
thereuare
This property used to be the Setai on Fifth Ave but then changed ownership/names to The Langham... the property has only been won once when it was the Setai (see this hotwire hotel purchase) and has not been reported since. We don't see many 5* purchases in NYC, likely due to the price difference between 4* and 5* hotels being so large, so there could always be other 5 star properties that we aren't yet aware of (or which have recently been added to the system) Since this a somewhat extended stay you could see if this same property is offered for the first (or last) nite of your stay and then again for the balance. If so, you could purchase the solo nite in order to 'look behind the curtain'. If you're happy with the results purchase the remaining nites, if not, make alternate plans for the balance of your stay. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... or thru our sister site MAPS and HOTELS.com for your regular rate purchases. (this is a slow time of year in NYC so you may be able to find something reasonably priced thru MAPS and HOTELS.com) Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
