Priceline Hotel: Union Square or Fisherman's Wharf 3.5 or 4*

Hello all, i'm not new to priceline but i am definitely new to bidding and not knowing which hotel is what.

I'm planning a five week US trip next may and if anyone can help me out with which hotels might appear in my future biddings, that would be excellent!

For san fran, i am wanting a 3.5 or 4 star hotel either in union square or fisherman's wharf. I have been looking at Club Donatello, Holiday Inn Union Square, and a few of the Marriott type places at the Wharf.

Check in thursday, may 14, check out sunday may 17

One queen or king bed, tv, coffee maker, mini fridge, high rise (i don't want a low rise boutique style), right in the middle of the areas, and i would LOVE a view, even if it's just of the san fran roofs and not the bay or anything like that. Another reason why i want high up - better views and quieter at night hopefully.

Budget under $220 per night maximum, but ideally much less.

Thank you so much!

Welcome to Betterbidding.

This is definitely a ways in advance, so you have time to plan the purchase a little. However, using Price.line and Hot.wire really requires some flexibility. Bed type is not guaranteed. Views are often a paid upgrade and Hot.wire/Price.line listings are for regular rate rooms. You can try to make an educated guess as to which hotel/s are showing on Price.line Express and Hot.wire to try to get a hotel that would be more what you are looking for, but there is always the possibility that the result could be something else. In terms of mini frig, you would have to look for a hotel listing on Hot.wire with kitchenette, or there would be no guarantee that the hotel would/would be able to offer it. Additionally, Hot.wire or Price.line Express usually offer 1 or 2 listings per star rating per zone and neither may be what you are looking for. That also goes along with location - it becomes what the services happen to offer for your date/s to choose from.

Thank you for replying.

The May trip is actually a revision trip due to being forced to cancel our original October 2014 trip. My partner has to get a visa due to previous issues and this will take 6 months. We had no idea when we booked so now we are in damage control and trying to save money next time around while still staying in the same or similar hotels we had booked before.

In any case, i just want to know which hotels tend to appear in this star rating for those locations...i am actually fairly flexible.

You can find the hotels that have been reported to the board on Hot.wire here: Hotwire Hotel List Calfornia, Priceline Hotel List California.

The listings provide what has been reported to the board - there may be others that can appear at any time (and other changes, such as star rating changes, can also appear at any time, as well.)
