Priceline Hotel: Help with bidding Lake Buena Vista 3.5 - 4 *

I am hoping you can help me with a bidding strategy for Lake Buena Vista area. It seems like some of the 3.5 stars are nice so I am willing to go to that star level to get a good deal. I am not really sure where to start bidding so I will rely upon you for the best possible deal. I do not want to go over 90.00 if that is possible.

I don't mind going to another area of disney. I am interested in a place that will give me easy access/shuttle to downtown disney.

Thanks for any help.

Not sure about that time of year, what kind of strategy is needed; if hotels are available, give it a go for best deal. Can tell you from experience, gotten the Holiday Inn LBV Resort (former Sunspree, Vineland) on a back-to-back stay last October. Bids around $45. One thing to note in this area, resort/parking fees can add up. And if you're willing to go up to $90 you could try a 4* bid first, maybe snag a Gaylord or DTD Hilton if you work it right. Hope that helps.

Did you want to first try for a 4* hotel up to your limit and then if that is rejected try for a 3.5* property... OR is your goal the least expensive 3.5* or better for this trip?

Let us know and we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow.

wow, sorry I didn't get back to you on this thread. I ended up changing my plans and stayed with friends in Tampa then making the drive over for the day. I believe I made that decision after I had started bidding and was rejected.
