AaronJB
These amenities are common to a few different hotels in the area - the Sheraton, W Lakeshore, Crowne Plaza Avenue, Palomar or Omni would be among the possibilities. Out of that bunch, I'd lean towards the Sheraton as being more likely, but be willing to accept any of the above.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. supajeffro
Thanks! What are your thoughts on $110 per night for this deal? Also the Sheraton doesn't show fitness as an amenity, could that cancel it out? Link to comment
AaronJB
Do you mean it does not show fitness on the retail listing? If so, when I click "see all" next to top amenities on the Sheraton retail listing, fitness is listed when the complete list comes up. There's definitely a fitness center on the property. I've stayed at the Sheraton before - I thought it was a very standard convention/business property, but it does get reasonably good reviews and has a terrific location. If you are on a higher floor, you may also have decent/nice views of the surrounding area. I'm also seeing what appears to be the Sheraton for $110 on HOTWIRE, although that's not a guarantee that the Express Deals listing is the Sheraton.I'm really not seeing much in the way of cheaper options - aside from a possible match for the Palmer House for $106. You can try to bid, but you have to be willing to accept any 4* in the area/s chosen. Unless traffic comes in higher than expected (a possibility), rates will likely remain a touch lower than the rest of the Summer, as the 4th of July period tends to be a little bit slower (and in Chicago, there's less in the way of festivities than there used to be.)Let us know your thoughts and we would be happy to offer further suggestions.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
