dmeyers
Hi All,I have used this site before to plan a trip around USA, about 18 months ago and it was very useful, booking hotels in NY, D.C., Chicago (Using Priceline, never tried hotwire)I am visiting the west coast at the end of March for just over 3 weeks, and was hoping to get some help/advice/strategies on bidding! My plans are:San Francisco - March 27th (5 Nights)LA - (5 Nights)Santa Barbara - (4 Nights)Las Vegas - (6 Nights)Looking to be in Santa Barbara from April 6th for 4 nights (poss 5) then driving on to Vegas. (Quick question...who would recommend flying (short) from LA to Santa Barbara, opposed to driving?)With regards to Santa Barbara, looking to spend up to $130 per night (less if possible!) for a minimum of 4*. Would like to stay close the beach/sea area. Never been here before so not sure on any better location? Is it wise to just book through Expedia etc, as there seems to be very little mentioned on here for it!Thanks in advance for any help! thereuare
With regards to Santa Barbara, looking to spend up to $130 per night (less if possible!) for a minimum of 4*.If you enter 'Santa Barbara' into the search box on the top right of the board you'll see that there is no 4* bidding offered in this zone. Are you interested in bidding for a 3* hotel?Would like to stay close the beach/sea area. Never been here before so not sure on any better location?Use our MAPS and HOTELS.com research tool to see the hotels offered in the areas you're interested in, and you can easily see how much more/less it would cost to stay closer/further away or higher/lower in star level. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. (or our Expedia.com link if you decide to go that route) Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
