thereuare
Please keep all post for the same stay in the same thread. The 4.5* property is a match for the US Grant while the 4* is a match for the Hyatt Regency La Jolla so that would be our best guess for each. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know which you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help. thereuare
Please keep all post for the same stay in the same thread. The property above has not yet been identified. However, the Westin Gaslamp Quarter has previously been reported with the amenities above, except for the Smoke Free icon... but this property is Smoke Free so that would be my best guess. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide or if we can be of further help. Colfax
The TripAdvisor stats are a match for the Westin Gaslamp (3.5/5, 140+ reviews) but I'm able to book smoking rooms at that hotel. The other Westin hotel in Downtown San Diego is smokefree, but the TripAdvisor stats don't match. :) For your dates Expedia has Loew's Coronado for $139. If Coronado appeals to you that's a great rate for a 4* there. You might do even better than $139 bidding on PRICELINE. Link to comment

From the Westin Gaslamp website:Smoking PolicyWestin didn't discover fresh air, but we are pleased to offer it at The Westin Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego. All 450 guestrooms as well as all bars and restaurants are fully non-smoking. Colfax
When I was checking Westin Gaslamp's rates two days ago there was a "Smoking Room" option in the menu of room types. I can't replicate that result now and I see Westin Gaslamp's No Smoking Policy on their website. I must have made a mistake. :) Maybe I was looking at some other Westin? Or are all Westins smokefree?I agree now that this looks like the Westin Gaslamp, which is smokefree.Did you ever purchase anything, aceface? Link to comment
aceface
I ended up not booking this trip. I stayed at the Loews in Coronado for a comparable price. Link to comment
