Hello All!

Booking one night, two rooms, Friday, July 16 - 17th.

Amenities:

Smoke Free Rooms

Fitness Center

Pool(s)

Restaurant

Business Center

High-speed Internet Access

I've seen questions on the hotel that lists these amenities before, which have been suggested to be Sheraton, Renaissance, or Intercontinental Yorkville. Does it get narrowed down any if it also lists that it's recommended by 85% in customer reviews.

Thanks for any help provided!

Will make the bid via your PRICELINE link and follow up on final results!

Happy Travels,

Sorry, my error in putting the PRICELINE comment in, it'll be through your HOTWIRE link!

But, while I'm at it, if I do bid via PRICELINE, how can I put the price that I'm seeing on HOTWIRE $85 per room per night ($100 total cost) into perspective if bidding on Priceline?

Happy Travels, and a very Happy 4th of July from Canada to my U.S. travel pals!

You can use the $85 HOTWIRE price as a 'maximum bid' price knowing that if your PRICELINE bids are rejected you can 'fallback' on the HOTWIRE offer... but keep in mind that the HOTWIRE offer could disappear at any time (so not a good idea to drag your feet PRICELINE bidding if you're using the HOTWIRE rate as your backup plan) AND a 4* on HOTWIRE could be rated for less than that on PRICELINE.

What is your objective for this stay... the lowest possible rate or having a guess as to the hotel you may likely receive before your purchase?

Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your purchases... please use for your searches as well!

Of course the lowest rate is a big priority, but trying to pinpoint the hotel is a pretty big objective as well. We're attending a wedding, and the day will see us at three different venue locations.

I just bid via your PRICELINE link, at $78, 2 rooms, 1 night bringing the total to $186, 4*, Toronto South location, it was rejected, which I figured it would be, but thought I'd throw it out there anyhow. I was given the immediate opportunity to raise my bid to $93 to ensure an accepted bid. That however brought the total price for 2 rooms, 1 night to $220, our price on HOTWIRE came to a total of $202.

I'll follow up with the results!
