1. Used the board PRICE.LINE link. Saved a few bucks (listed for $135 on published websites). Must add on $15 self parking fee. Deal Type: Name Your Own Price Room Price: $72.00 /room night Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $72.00 Taxes & Fees: $15.43 Total Charged Today: $87.43
2. I used the HOTWIRE link to make my purchase. There were two 3.5* hotels offered at a dollar apart, $103 (orig. $150) and $104 (orig. $175). I chose $104 and won the Hilton. I thought I would win the Crowne Plaza but was surprised to win the Hilton. (NOTE: This Hilton is no longer a 4*.) The going rate for this Hilton is $179 before taxes. Hope this helps someone out there! Airport shuttle Fitness center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business center Self-service laundry Internet access Accessibility Accessible for visually impaired Accessible for hearing impaired Accessible path of travel In-room accessibility Accessible parking Roll-in shower Rate per night $104.00 Nights 1 Rooms ( 2 adults ) 1 Subtotal $104.00 Tax recovery charges + fees $27.60 LOVE20 Discount -$20.00 Hotwire total $111.60
3. Used the PRICELINE link. Started at $65 and increased my bid by $1 increments. This is a savings of ~$30 off the lowest rate I could find on other websites. FYI: The hotel has a "Hospitality fee," which includes free parking, wifi, and a shuttle to Disneyland (every 30 minutes). Offer Price: avg. per room, per night US$ 72.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: US$ 72.00 Taxes & Fees: US$ 17.34 Total Charged to Card: US$ 89.34
4. Used the PRICELINE link. Started at $65 and increased by $1 increments. I think this is a new addition to your list of wins. Seems like a decent budget option as the website states free parking/wifi/shuttle/cookies (in the evening)/daily happy hour. My win with taxes is approximately $20-30 less than the standard advertised prices (for this date). Hope this helps someone. Offer Price: avg. per room, per night US$ 71.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: US$ 71.00 Taxes & Fees: US$ 17.20 Total Charged to Card: US$ 88.20
5. Used the PRICELINE link. Started from $59 and increased by $1 increments. It's a saving of only $10 from the Hilton website. Bummer is that the hotel charges $11 for self-parking. Oh well...better luck next time. Offer Price: avg. per room, per night US$ 68.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: US$ 68.00 Taxes & Fees: US$ 16.75 Total Charged to Card: US$ 84.75
6. Used the PRICELINE link, of course, and started with a bid of $65. (I tried bidding the previous 2 nights with no luck up to $83 for a 3.5*.) I figured I'd have to bid in the $80s to get a room, so I jumped up to $70, and to my surprise, I won the Sheraton Sonoma County Petaluma. I'm happy. Thanks. Offer Price: avg. per room, per night US$ 70.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: US$ 70.00 Taxes & Fees: US$ 17.67 Total Charged to Card: US$ 87.67
7. I started out at $65 and slowly increased to $87 and won on my last bid at $88. The Doubletree's website's best rate was $158 with taxes a fees. I really wanted the Sheraton Petaluma as I won that hotel in the past, but oh well...could have been worse. I did use the PRICELINE link. Thanks. Offer Price: avg. per room, per night US$ 88.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: US$ 88.00 Taxes & Fees: US$ 20.47 Total Charged to Card: US$ 108.47
8. Started with the PRICELINE link. I've been trying for the past few days for a 4* Dusseldorf Central hotel starting at $45 and increasing by a $1 each day. I expected to get the Renaissance and did so for $51. There was a 4* for $46 on Hotwire but I was too nervous to purchase the hotel not knowing what I'd win. (Based on previous wins, I was 99% sure I was going to win the Renaissance.) Happy with the win since it's near transportation to the airport. Hope this helps! Offer Price: avg. per room, per night US$51.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: US$51.00 Taxes & Fees: US$11.58 Priceline Hotel Coupon: -US$2.55 Congratulations! Your 5% coupon (SUMMER) applied! Total Charged to Card: US$60.03
9. FYI: I just booked a B&B for the three nights prior, and the B&B host stated that the time I am travelling is still considered high-season, thus the high rates. Happy with the B&B being 89 Euro/night + 5.5% tourist tax. B&B is Crown B&B Amsterdam.
10. Used the PRICELINE link. My goal was less than $140 total with taxes & fees/night for 5 nights, Oct 7-12 but I had no luck with 5* bids ($101/110/115/120/125) or 4* ($65/75). I then tried for each night separately, Oct 7th 4* ($85/100) and Oct 8th 5* ($123/124/125), 4* ($90/101) with no win. I did some research on the rates offered by PRICELINE EXPRESS Deals, and the rates were much higher for Monday, Oct 7th to Wednesday. Express Deals offered a 4* Central Canals hotel for $100 per night for Oct 10-12, so I did a 4* re-bid for those nights starting at $85 and then jumped up to $90 and won. I was hoping for a better deal being that this is later in the peak season but maybe the prices are high due to the dates being so close to Octoberfest??? I have no clue. I'm thinking of staying at a B&B for the first 3 nights if I can't score a deal for those nights. Hope this info helps somebody out there. Thanks! Offer Price: avg. per room, per night US$90.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 2 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: US$180.00 Taxes & Fees: US$29.94 Priceline Hotel Coupon: -US$9.00 Congratulations! Your 5% coupon (coupon code: SUMMER) applied! Total Charged to Card: US$200.94
11. Used the PRICELINE link and began my bid for a 4* with bids of $85/86/87/91/96/101/105/111 and won at $115. Happy with the win since the hotel's website is offering the room for $330+. Thanks! Offer Price:$115.00 Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 + Add nights for the same rate! Room Subtotal: $115.00 Taxes & Fees: $24.14 Priceline Hotel Coupon: -$5.75 Congratulations! Your 5% coupon (coupon: SUMMER) applied! Total Charged to Card: $133.39
12. Started with your PRICELINE link. Tried for a 4* with bids of $85/90/95/99/101/105/110 with no luck. After opening a new link, I bid for a 3.5* with 60/61/62/63/64/67/70/75 and won with $79. Priceline Express Deals offered, I believe, the same property for $93 ($107 with taxes/fees). Hope this helps. Room Cost (avg. per room, per night): $79.00 (USD) Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Guests Per Room: 2 Number of Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $79.00 (USD) Taxes and Fees: $18.68 (USD) Priceline Hotel Coupon: -$3.95 (USD) Total Charged to Card: $93.73 (USD)
13. Started my search with the PRICELINE link. Began my bid for a 3.5* at $45 and I won using my second to last re-bid with $55. I've read they have or are in the process of renovating the rooms. I believe free internet (?) and parking is offered. I'm happy with my win. Thanks! Rooms: 1 Nights: 1 Room Subtotal: $55.00 Taxes & Fees: $14.68 Priceline Hotel Coupon: -$2.75 Congratulations! Your 5% coupon applied! (Coupon code: SUMMER) Total Charged to Card: $66.93
14. Used the PRICELINE link. Tried for a 4* for 2 nights, 11/7-9, from $70 up to $80 with no luck last night. I didn't want the 3.5* Marriott as it is a bit out of the way. I took my chance with 3*, and I'm quite nervous with my win but oh well. This hotel is listed as a 2.5* on the Betterbidding list, but it is now a 3*. The reviews are mixed with the positive being the location - near the River and City Market. The hotel is listed at $131/night elsewhere, and I'm finding that Savannah hotels are a little pricier than other cities so I'm becoming ok with this win. $75/night + 29.84 taxes/fees = $179.84. Parking is $11. Hope this helps. Thanks! Days Hotel At Ellis Square Historic Savannah and Riverfront 201 W Bay St , Savannah, GA 31401 912-236-4440
15. Used the PRICELINE link. Started at $48 with rebid increases of $2 and once of $1 and won at $55 + 14.77 taxes = $69.77 for the night of Nov. 4th. Parking is $20 valet so may decide to catch the airport bus CT3 directly to the hotel instead for $1.50. I believe Hotwire is offering this same hotel for $68 ($82 with taxes/fees). Just staying one night for the NFL game so I'm happy with the win. Around $127 on other websites. Thanks!
