  1. 1st bid. Bid for 3.5 stars but got the 4* Hyatt. $57 bid, total $73.18
  2. Sorry, thought I got it all in the thread title, but apparently it was truncated. This was the Courtyard by Marriott, Folsom. Nice place, have stayed here several times.
  3. Catching up, posting some previous travel. Got this property and was very pleased. $55+$10 tax/fees per night. Hotel was very accomodating re requested room type. Extended the stay and added a 2nd room at same rate.
  4. Got this property for $75 on Sun 1/24 for 1 night. We loved the place and extended an extra day thru Priceline. Just now bid the same 4* for $70 and got the same hotel for tomorrow. Hopefully we will get to keep the same room. Off season and the place is pretty dead but a great deal at this price.
  5. I just checked in to a Marriott Courtyard (Pensacola, FL) that I booked on PRICELINE. When I asked the desk clerk if he had a king room available, he said "they (meaning Priceline) say we cannot change a Priceline reservation once it comes in. If you want a special room type you have to request it through Priceline". I have heard this same spiel from one other property, don't remember if it was another Marriott or not. On the other hand I have stayed at other Marriott properties through Priceline and have never had this problem. When I tried to explain that there is no way to request a specific room type through Priceline, and that I had stayed at other Marriott properties through Priceline without this isue, I just got a shrug. What's the deal with these people, are they that clueless, or are they just trying not to be accomodating?
  6. Got the Airtel for today (1/11) for nights for $55. Didn't try anything lower.
