  1. Started at $55 and went up to $60 - $65 - $70 - then got it for $74. I used the links on the website.
  2. Started bidding at $68 on 3.5* hotel - added bids in $5 increments while adding zones - bid was accepted at $83 for 2 rooms. And yes, I used the PRICELINE links on the site! Question - it gave me chance to extend reservation - if that shows up does it mean it will definitely be extended at that price if you accept, or do they search again and tell you if price is avaialble?
  3. I have a question about the 24 hour rebid - if I decide to rebid within by lowering the star rating, can I do it within the 24 hour period after I have logged off, or does it need to be all in the same session? For example, if at 7:00 p.m. I bid on 4 star hotels in certain zones, can I sign off and come back at 10:00 p.m. bidding on 3 star hotels in the same zones? Or do I need to do it before signing off? Thanks!
  4. Thanks for the comments - if we can't get this hotel in the next few days, we will lower the star rating to 3 stars, still trying for the Amehrst area. If that fails, we will have to book direct. I'll keep bidding each day and see what happens.
  5. I've been trying for weekend of August 28 - 30 (2 rooms) in Amherst at 3.5 stars and am up to $85 with bid being rejected. Any tips? I don't want to go higher - should I wait a few days and try again? I see a bid for this weekend has been accepted at $65.
