Staying Oct 7th - 9th. Been watching Hotwire for a month now and no oceanfront property came up until now. Looking for help to identifity this "Resort" at $107. Would love for it to be the Huntington Beach Hyatt :) 4-star Hotel in Newport Beach - Huntington Beach This Hotel features the following amenities: Resort Near Beach Oceanfront Property Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Spa Services Children's Activity Program

I just checked HOTWIRE too and the 4* comes up at $88 for that date. So I agree it might be had for lower. . i think you can ususally win a bid $10 to $20 less then Hotwires pricing (sometimes) Sure wish it was that price for 8/1

After about two weeks of trying to bid under $100 I finally won! It's not the $65 rate many were getting but for some reason Aug 1st must be pretty busy. We're going for a concert. For two weeks i've started each day bidding around $65, then $80, $90 and on some days went as much as $105 and got nothing. Today: $65 - just downtown $80 - added SEA TAC $90 - added Seattle Center $95 - added Bothell - WIN! now hopefully our Gold status will help us getting a decent room :)

NICE! Was that just today.. . i've been trying to get something around that price for either/both Aug 1st and Sept 12. Will keep trying the $60's and hope one will got through some day.
