  1. Feedback on hotel - everything was good. Appropriately rated at 3* and they comped wireless internet service, normally $5. It is a typical Extended Stay with kitchenette, etc. Area is pretty industrial, but although there were a few trucks tooling about in the early evening, no issues overnight with noise. Area isn't pretty, but seemed pretty secure and right next to 167. There are a number of fast food restaurants and diners both across the street and within a mile. Overall, I was pleased and would stay there again.
  2. First bid $55 for 3* Richmond rejected Second bid $58 added Burnaby for 3* rejected Third bid added 2.5* at $55 accepted. (US$) Have not stayed at Coast before so we'll how it turns out for $68 a night (after fees) Total for 2 nights: Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: US$55.00 Subtotal: US$110.00 Taxes & Fees: US$25.92 Total Charges: US$135.92
  3. Tried 2* at $26 in Renton/Kent with no luck. Won at $29 by adding Bothell. Thanks again for the great site.
  4. Stayed Aug 2009 and room was just fine. Free parking, free internet, mall with many restaurants and shops is only a couple miles away.
  5. Bid $35 for 2 star in Olympia - Rejected Added Buckley to $38 - Rejected Added Puyallup to $40 - Accepted at Extended Stay Olympia. Have stayed at Extended Stay in Olympia before, it is pretty much a 2 star room, but the area is fairly safe and the stay was fine before. Puyallup is a bit further than Lakewood, but they both offer up to 3 star and the Puyallup area is far preferred over what you might end up with in Lakewood. (Sorry I forget to go through the PRICELINE link, will remember next time.)
  6. $100US (plus fees & taxes) IS a great deal on a 4* in Downtown YVR, but if you were expecting to pay say.... $65US.... you might be a little disappointed with the deal you thought you were getting. In my case, I had the option to stay in outlying areas where prices & extras are less expensive, but since I hadn't stayed downtown in a long time, I thought it might be nice. I am happy with my room, but more than anything, I wanted to post the note on the extra cost that I wish I had seen BEFORE committing to a hotel. Thanks again for the site. It is very helpful. klos
  7. Hyatt Regency in Downtown Vancouver 3 nights, 2/2/09 thru 2/5/09 at US$65 /night STarted bid Downtown at $56 - added Downtown/City Hall at 58 - added Port Coquitlam at 62 - added Langley and finally won at $65 Hotel looks nice and good location, but reading some reviews, looks like the extras might kill the price. Internet access is $15CA / Day and Parking at hotel is $28CA/day, although there are evidently alternate garages in area for a lot less. Thanks for the website, I think I figured it out now... maybe :) -klos
