  1. forgot to say this was for 3 people; they have a cheaper rate for 1 queen bed vs 2.
  2. Fitness Center Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Free Parking Free Breakfast Free Internet In-room accessibility Accessible bathroom Handicapped parking as always, used the HOTWIRE link! edit: looks like my copy/paste messed up the header, i'm sure you all can clean that up! thanks again.
  3. DC. Lot's of rebid zones. Good stuff. Tried for a 4* Went slowly from 70 to 97, no dice. Decided to go to for a 3.5* bids: 60, 65 (add 17 offer), 68 (add 14), 70 (add 12), 73 - accepted Gotta book a couple more rooms for friends now. edit: also booked for DW's parents but that was 5/11-5/14 at the same price 73. let me know if you'd like a second thread. as always, used the PRICELINE link!
  4. Seems like 91 is magic number for the Hyatt. Tried to big low (since there's a ton of rebids for SF), but nothing took. history:75,77,79,80,82,84,85,86,88,89,90,91 Hotwire rate is 97, so saving $6 works! oh yea, used the PRICELINE link! Thanks again
  5. Check my thread: Hotwire San Diego hotel thread. Most likely the ramada gaslamp
  6. Wasn't on the hotel list, but our guess was the Ramada based off older bids and the tripadvisor score. Amenities: Airport Shuttle Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-Speed Internet Access used betterbidding's HOTWIRE link! Thanks again!
  7. Knew it was the Dana based on the amenities and the hotel list. Near Beach, Smoke Free Rooms, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Laundry Facilities (self-service), High-Speed Internet Access, Tennis Nearby Going to a wedding at the Paradise Point (which was on HW for 1 day at 108 but we didn't jump on it --- then went to 133 and now 180). Anyway, just over a mile away. Should be perfectly fine! And of course I booked via the HOTWIRE link!
  8. Title says its all. Knew the hotel from the list + tripadvisor star level. Amenities Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Wanted a bed choice for the night and the Westin had it. Paid $5 extra for the double. I will use an Entertainment Book $15 off to sweeten the deal. I used the HOTWIRE link from betterbidding and then entered the Entertainment Book link. I read from an earlier post this was how to do it. Hopefully you get credit since I love this site! thanks again.
  9. Well it was a little more than I hoped to pay, but I had $10/night bonus cash and it was the 4th of July weekend; so I was willing to go up more than recent wins. Wanted the MNA area, so I stuck there and rebid like crazy (22 total! many free rebid zones in CHI!). Started in the mid 70s, when I hit 110, I had an offer to add 23. Then bid 112,114,116. With the bonus cash, it's 106 a night. Almost debated dropping down to 3.5 stars, but won before I could make that decision. Price on travel sties is $133. Thanks betterbidding! Good luck to everyone!
  10. Hi all- won the hilton at 54 for Christmas night (parents house is too busy!).. $54 is a nice price, beats my previous of $64. Nice hotel for anyone that is wondering... but am surprised they bumped it up to a 4*! Took 4 bids: 48 (+14 offer) burbank 52 burbank studio city 53 (+15 offer) burbank van nuys 54 (accepted) burbank simi valley as always, used the PRICELINE link!
  11. I noticed re-bidding*com now only has a PRICELINE link.. probably should delete them since they're not doing anything anymore.
  12. the final hotel for the upcoming vacation. all the 3*'s from past bids were 70 and the courtyard. this was no exception.. tried to do bids in the 60s, got offered to add 17 at different bids, but no dice before the $70 bid. thanks again!
  13. I have a followup to this. With my recent bidding on Boston hotels, I made your PRICELINE link (http://www.betterbidding.com/clicks/click.php?afsrc=1&id=40) my default homepage so every time I opened Firefox to rebid, it would bounce me straight to Priceline. I made over 50 bids the last few days... Is there a way to default in the dates and city? I know there's the date/city search on this site, but I'm not sure how/if we can add on those values to the usual referral link.
  14. Had to bid for the girlfriend's sister hotel after our 4* win. Anyway, tried a 3.5 again and hit their limit of $80 without any hits. Bids: 50-55-60-65-67-69-70-75-77-79-80 Moved down to a 3* 50 (offered to increase to 64) 53 won. There were other 55 wins, so maybe that's around the sweet spot. Thanks again! Used the PRICELINE link!
  15. Whew.. Took 3 days. Really wanted a 3.5* but we were having zero luck and started to get into 4* price range. Winning bid summary: 100, 105 (offered to add 22), 110, 115. Thinking back, probably should have started to go slow with the recent 111 and 112 wins. There's so many rebidding combos to use for Boston! For anyone looking for a 3.5* my unsuccessful bids were: 50 up to 66 63 up to 94 68 up to 95 On HOTWIRE the 3.5's were costing more than the 4's for my dates. Maybe a convention and the W/Th night was killing us? dunno. Used the PRICELINE link. Love betterbidding.com !
