I stayed for 2 nights recently after receiving this hotel for $24/night on a PriceLine bid. After adding the $3.50/night resort fee, taxes and other PriceLine fees... total was closer to $35/night. AMENITIES: Coffee, condiments, and coffee maker, hair dryer, safe, refrigerator, free local calls, iron and ironing board, 2-line phone for using computer Good: Front Desk and Maintenance was very friendly and promptly responded to my requests. I took this train of thinking when I made my successful bid of $69/night at the Dolphin for 18-25 July 2004. However, Hotwire was coming up almost $30/night more for the Dolphin's amenitiesss... I took a calculated risk and was granted my wish after holding my breath until it came through! Thanks to God for my guardian angel who must have been sitting on my shoulder! :)

Thanks to you both for your replies! *Yes, I knew there is a $10 resort fee. (Appreciate you posting about that, because sometimes you just don't know about that until you get there!) Speaking of which, I wanted to go last minute and used PriceLine (again through savingsbarn.com) and got the LaQuinta Lakeside in Kissimmee for $24 per night. But, surprise, surprise... they added on a $3.50 per night resort fee (and they are only a 2* hotel!!) :) *Here's hoping you get lucky when you try again for the Dolphin!! :)
