  1. Amenities listed: Restaurant Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Casino No Smoking Rooms/Facilities Priceline taxes and fees: $7.24. Resort fee of $23.34 to be paid at the hotel. Total for this deal is $52.58 after all is said and done. Hotel has a 8.1/10 approval rating by Priceline customers. Used the link from the Bidding Helper tool.
  2. This hotel charges about $8 per day resort fee. After HOTWIRE fees, taxes, and the resort fee (which I pay AT the hotel), the total will be about $98 for 2 nights. Hotwire says this hotel is recommended by 7 out of 10 guests, so that might also be a way to help identify this hotel. Trip advisor gives it 3 out of 5. Amenities listed: Free parking, Free breakfast, Free Internet, Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Business center, Self-service laundry, Golf nearby
  3. Sorry I didn't see your request. I probably need to change my settings so that I get an email when someone sends me a private message. With this having been so far in the past, I suppose it would be to late to go back and find this information, especially since Hotwire is likely to have made changes to it by now. Sorry.
  4. Always nervous using Hot.wire. Sometimes a hotel THEY think is nice is actually a dump. But after I won, I checked TripAdvisor and it rates pretty well. Very pleased with my purchase, so far.
  5. And you are correct. Park Inn. With LOADS of horrible recent reviews on TripAdvisor. Wow. I guess I win? I won this (if you could call it winning) using the BiddingHelper.com, which is an AWESOME tool. The Park Inn has several recent really awful reviews on TripAdvisor. Can't wait to find out for myself if it is as nasty as some recent guests say it is. Yay for me! LOL. Looks like the Park Inn has been upgraded to 3 stars, so an admin could update that information on the Hotwire list for Texas.
  6. This is the expanded list: Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Airport shuttle, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Self-service laundry, Internet access, Golf nearby, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower You may be right. It's very close to being the same list. Maybe the wording of some of the amenities is different. Can you move topic to the Texas Hotwire thread? As you can see, I misposted this on the Texas Priceline thread.
  7. Any thoughts on which property this could be? 3* property in the (Love Field DAL - Market Center) area availalbe 9/2 - 9/5 for $48/night. Hot.wire claims the hotel is normally $108 per night. The amenities listed are: Airport shuttle Business center Fitness center Free Internet Free parking Pet friendly Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Self-service laundry
  8. Read about the previous poster who had gotten Holiday Inn Opryland-Airport for $58. I'm making a last minute run to Nashville today. I know that prices vary with dates and availability. So I checked out all the free-rebid areas that don't have 3-star or better hotels, and started my bidding at $50. I thought I'd have to go up in $2 increments for a few bids. Nope. Got Hotel Preston right away. Most tripadvisor reviews for this place in the last few weeks are less than stellar. Oh well. At least I didn't pay full price.
  9. Saw a 4* listing for PRICELINE EXPRESS at $55 in downtown St. Louis. I figured if they had a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal willing to go for $55, then I could surely name my own price for less. Started at $40. Rejected. They countered, asking if I could bid $53 right now. I did a freebid at $45 and then again at $48. WIN. Used the PRICELINE link.
  10. I thought I had included the amenities. I'm pretty sure I copied them. Must not have pasted them. Sorry. Here they are. Guest Rating: 8.0 guest favorite Free Breakfast Free Internet Indoor or Outdoor Pool Free Parking Business Center Fitness Center Includes FREE Breakfast, Internet and Parking
  11. Tried naming my own price for 3* for these dates. Lots of free rebid areas. Started at $70 and bid myself all the way up to $110 before I gave up and finally took the Express Deal for $120 for a 2.5* hotel. It has a pretty good satisfaction rating (8 out of 10) from Priceline customers, so I think it will do nicely. Used the PRICELINE link, of course.
  12. Doh! Sorry. I didn't realize that address wasn't any good anymore. And sorry for doing multiple threads. I thought a HOTWIRE question belonged in the Hotwire thread and a PRICELINE question belonged in the Priceline thread. Thanks for the input. I will report back when I have made a purchase.
  13. 3.5* - 65% recommended 1 hot RATE ROOM 3 NIGHTS 5/27/14 to 5/30/14 2 ADULTS STANDARD PRICE $181ǂ YOU SAVE $107 $74 per night Amenities - Free Parking Free Internet Airport Shuttle Smoke Free Rooms Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Self service laundry Could be Millennium Maxwell House, but I'm pretty sure they don't offer Free Internet. According to the hotel's website, they have high speed internet in all the rooms, but they don't say it's free. If I were offering a free service, I'd want to make sure my customers knew there was a free service. Also, the Hotwire site implies their hotels are among the yellow dots on a map of downtown, but I know for a fact that this hotel is in the northeastern most corner of the "Downtown Metro Center" zone, far away from the yellow dots. What do you guys think? ttt
  14. Choose 3-star Downtown - Metro Center deal for $76 Outdoor Pool Free Parking Business Center Fitness Center Choose 2½-star Downtown - Metro Center deal for $127 Guest Rating: 7.0 Free Breakfast Free Internet in room Outdoor Pool Business Center Fitness Center Attending a Conference at the Omni in downtown Nashville (250 5th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203) May 27-30 with a couple of colleagues. Either of these Express Deals would be acceptable in terms of star level and price. FREE Parking at the 3-star hotel is a big deal, but only if we're within a few blocks of the Omni. Both cost less than the $150 per night for the Conference rate at the Omni. Can you help me identify either of these properties?
  15. I decided to try bidding again today and won. After taxes, saved $20 over the PRICELINE EXPRESS Deal, but I'm just a very short distance further away from the airport. However, the difference in price will buy me a late dinner when I arrive!
