  1. I stayed at this hotel 5 years ago and hopefully the Hilton upgraded their property since then. But I can definitely vouch for Spencer's Steak House in the hotel -- great food! Little pricey, comparable to Ruth Chris. WA
  2. Hey, anything is better than paying rack rate. I personally don't find it too bothersome paying for parking, but that is just me, especially after using PCLN. WA
  3. The parking fee doesn't bother me since my hotel rate won via PCLN is 70% off the rack rate. I also will say that I did get to stay in the Tower room after my original room at the Wing room had a problem and found the Tower Rooms to be outdated and noisy. My request to move back to the Wing room was granted and I am much happier as the furnishings and bathroom are updated, not to mention the room is QUIET, and my room faces the lobby drive area. WA
  4. 1st bid at $44 3* Seattle Airport -> Rejected 2nd bid at $45 3* Seattle Airport -> Rejected (added Everett) 3rd bid at $46 3* Seattle Airport -> ACCEPTED (added Lynnwood) Original bid from 2/21-2/24. Extended bid at $46 to 2/27 checkout = SUCCESS! :) Used SavingsBarn PCLN Link. Lowest advertised hotel rack rate is $149. Yeah! WA ps: No Holiday Inn SeaTac :-) ;-)
  5. Placed initial bid at $93 for a 4* City Center Museum Quarter and landed the Hotel Amsterdam De Roode Leeuw for 3 nights. Comes out to $308.52 with taxes and fees. Lowest hotel rate is 99 EURO, or about $130 US. WA
  6. This bid was my 2nd transaction, 1st bid. On 1st transaction, bid $125 for a 4* Zurich Central and got rejected. 2nd transaction occurred on a different day. WA
  7. Zurich is incredibly expensive for January, but I am pleased to have won a PCLN bid for the Crowne Plaza Zurich for $129 a night from 1/27/07 - 1/29/07. Sorry, I forgot to use the SB link but will do so next time. :) WA ps: The lowest rack rate on hotel web site is 315 CHF, or about $237 US Dollars.
  8. Amenities: Fitness Center, Restaurant, Business Center, Laundry Facilities and High Speed Internet. WA
  9. Heya...sure, here are the details: Hilton Milan See details Via Galvani, 12 Milan, 20124 Italy 4* Hotel Check-in date Sat, Jan 20, 2007 Check-out date Sun, Jan 21, 2007 $113 + taxes = $120.15 WA
  10. Not on your hotwire list but I got the Milan Hilton 4* for $113 near the Milano Central Station. WA
  11. Wow, this was a toughie. Saw some successful bidders get in the low $40's for earlier this week (including last night!) Tried $42, $45, $50, $55 and finally $60 and landed the Sheraton SFO. I wanted a 4* in the SFO area... considering Hyatt wanted $109 lowest rack rate, I'm surprised I didn't get this. Added South SF, Civic Center, Cathedral Hill, San Mateo and finally Fisherman's Wharf. With taxes, comes out to $76 and change. Used SavingsBarn link. WA
  12. Used SavingsBarn PCLN link Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 2 (12/08-12/10) Subtotal: $100.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $22.63 Total Charges*: $122.63 Lowest non pre-paid rate on Radisson site: $99 WA
  13. Yes, I won this on my first bid. ;-) I'm at the hotel now and it's not that bad. Free parking and the rooms are actually decent. Much better than the LAX Holiday Inn. WA
  14. Looks like a new hotel on your California Priceline Hotel list.... PCLN Rate per night -> $55 Lowest Rate on Holiday Inn -> $149 2 night stay 11/25 - 11/27 I'm not a fan in general of Holiday Inns but this hotel looks pretty decent from the outside, but as everyone knows, never judge a book by its cover. :-) WA
  15.
