  1. Sorry for the confusion. Your PRICELINE EXPRESS link worked and I booked the hotel for $168/nt. With the extra discount code thru the board the total was $809.40 for four nights. It was indeed the DoubleTree by Hilton and I'm VERY pleased. Thank you so much!!!
  2. Hmmm... I'm seeing it as $174. I'm thinking of waiting a day or two to see if it comes back down. Thanks again, for you help!
  3. Thank you SO much. The price went up since I posted and I'm still doing some checking, but I will probably go with the 4* Priceline Express and hope it is indeed the Doubletree by Hilton. I'll keep you posted and of course, will use your link if I book it. Thanks, again!

  5. Thanks so much for your help, Aaron. That was a good guess ;-). I booked the 2* hotel in San Rafael through your HOTWIRE link, and it was indeed the North Bay Inn, which I was hoping for. With the discount code, it cost $391.33 (total) for four nights.
  6. Thanks! I'll keep you posted! I might bite the bullet and stay in the city ...
  7. Can you help ID these hotels? I was hoping to stay in SF, but the prices are very high for my dates: October 2nd - 6th (4 nights) 2-1/2* Novato Area $76/nt. 65% recommended Free breakfast, free Internet Airport Shuttle, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Self-Service laundry 2* San Rafael Area $86/nt. 70% recommended Free breakfast, free Internet, free parking 2* Mill Valley/Sausalito/Tiburon $98/nt. 55% recommended free breakfast, free parking, free Internet restaurant(s) Thanks so much for your help!
  8. Thanks for your help. Having no idea what I'd be getting I'm more comfortable booking the Inn at Marina Del Rey this time. But I appreciate your help.
  9. Thanks so much for the info. How about ... 3-1/2 star, Venice - Marina del Rey - Playa del Rey property? November 3 – 5 $139/nt; 75% recommended The amenities listed are: Free Breakfast; A/C; restaurant; boutique hotel; front desk; kitchenette; suite Or ... should I post this as a separate thread? Thanks!
  10. Can you give your best guess to ID a 3 star, Venice - Marina del Rey - Playa del Rey property? November 3 – 5 $162/nt; 75% recommended The only amenities listed are: Free Internet; Free Breakfast; Free parking I saw that the previous bidder got the Inn at Venice Beach—which I’m hoping for. But your listing of Hotwire properties has that listed with additional amenities. Thanks for your help!
  11. I bid $75 and was rejected. Bid $80 the next day and it was accepted. ($94.75 total with fees & taxes)
  12. I bid $124/nt for a 5 star hotel in this zone. FYI, there was no option of bidding for a 4-1/2 star property in this zone. When that bid was rejected I opted for the 4-1/2 star PRICELINE EXPRESS at $104/nt -- hoping for the Nh Barbizon Palace-- and that's what I got. Thanks so much for your help! Much appreciated.
  13. Do you have a guess for these? (the 4-1/2 * $108 is now $107) Thanks!
  14. Can you give your best shot at ID’ing these hotels? PRICELINE EXPRESS 4-1/2 * Amsterdam – Royal Palaca—Central Station—Dam Square March 9 – 14; $108 7 or higher rating; guest favorite guaranteed amenities: pets allowed; restaurant; free Internet; business center; fitness center and 4* Amsterdam – Royal Palaca—Central Station—Dam Square March 9 – 14; $113 7 or higher rating; guaranteed amenities: restaurant; free Internet; business center; bed choice I might just try "name your own price" -- but I appreciate your help with these. Thanks! PS. Am I correct that you prefer to have these all in one thread? If not ... sorry.
  15. I.D. Venice Italy Hotel???

For this very special trip I decided I wanted a specific hotel -- so did not use Hotwire or Priceline, but I appreciate your help, as always.
