  1. I think I could have got this for much less but my mistake. I was in a hurry and made an initial bid that I thought was reasonable. I was expecting the Bristol Marriott City Centre . The rack rate for the Hilton on Priceline was $70 but with slightly less fees than a "name your own price" it would have been $1 cheaper than my winning bid. I should have gone in lower and used numerous free bids. Bid Price $65 Taxes & Fess $18.83 Total Price $83.83 However, the hotel has good reviews and I'm not too disappointed with the outcome.
  2. The complete list of amenities are as follows:- Free breakfast, Free parking, Free Internet, Pet friendly, Indoor pool(s), Smoke-free rooms, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access
  3. I needed a room for 2 nights which could accommodate 4 adults so couldn't bid on Priceline like I normally would do. I checked out Priceline looking for a deal in Saratoga Springs but nothing was catching my eye so I tried HOTWIRE. I found a Hot Rate of $75 for a 3-star All-Suite hotel with 100% recommendation which looked very favorable. After doing a little bit of research I was pretty sure it would be the Hyatt Place Saratoga Springs (South)/Malta. Final price on Hotwire came to $150 plus $26.94 taxes and fees, for 2 nights. All-Suite Hotel, Free breakfast, Free Internet, Free parking Fitness center, Indoor pool(s), Pet friendly Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Smoke-free rooms Regular Hotwire rate was showing $146 (plus taxes and fees) although it was only $110 (plus taxes and fees) on Priceline. Even so, I'm very happy with this hotel.
  4. Checked Express bids for Denver Airport. There was a 4* hotel (must be the Westin) for $133, regular price $289. Thought I may as well try bidding for this one, nothing to lose as it's currently the only known 4* hotel at the airport. I started with a low bid of $95 and rebidded in $5 increments using free bids. Accepted at $125.00. Total $150.05 including taxes and fees. I'm very happy with this success. It's a brand new hotel, the only one within the airport complex, especially as I'm flying in around 11pm.
  5. Free parking Free breakfast Free Internet Pet friendly Pool(s) Self-service laundry
  6. Started bidding $85 then used two free bids $95 and $99 and bingo. Price with taxes and fees $118. Both Priceline and Hotwire appeared to have the same express price of $108 ($130 with fees). Regular Price $179
