Thank you for the reminder about the Scottsdale hotel. That trip did not happen, so unfortunately, we were unable to stay at that hotel.

I also should note that for whatever reason when I Bid on a 4 Star North Mich. Ave alone the first Bid, I started at $118 and it was rejected. After adding the 3 1/2 Star, I received a 4 Star win. Confusing!

We have been bidding on hotels for the last week in the North Mich. Ave zone and Millennium Park. We almost always get the Hyatt or Conrad, so we were hoping for something on the North end of town. This bid I went down to 3.5 with only the North Michigan Ave - River North Area selected with a $90 Bid. I got a message that they would accept a $113 Bid. I declined. Went back and entered Franklin Park (only has a 1-Star Economy hotel) and put in $100. Very pleased with the Conrad Chicago Hotel at that price. We are looking forward to a weekend in the city. I hope this helps with other bids.

I have used Betterbidding for Priceline hotels in Portland and San Francisco. I have always used Pricline to bid on cars in the past. I keep getting the message from Priceline that my itinerary is not valid for name your own price cars. Any advice on how I can do so? Used Betterbidding to Identify what hotel I would most likely get if I added SOMA - Moscone Center zone. I spent weeks trying for USE/USW and Financial District. I had Bids up to $140 with no luck. Added SOMA and got the Marriott. Looked at the location on the map and it looks great. First time to San Francisco and happy with the hotel location and the reviews!
