casino187
I know it is extremely early to bid, but I did anyways. I was bidding on a 5* in Vegas for May 17-21. I started with $100 and bid up to $205. I was rejected everytime. The thing that I found funny, is that they offered me a room for $274 through lowestfares.com. This price quote is more than the venetian website of $259. I was thinking the price they offer you is traditionally lower than the website?I think I'm going to book a cancellable backup and rebid closer to departure time. What sites are cancellable besides Venetian.com. Aren't most of the 3rd party websites non-refundable? Thank You. Link to comment
epicureangirl
I'm not sure for Vegas, but I've been able to reserve hotels through several cities official tourism/convention website or Entertainment (use a friends membership card to book if you don't have one) without cancellation penalty. I would also suggest calling the hotel directly (at their local number if they're part of a huge chain) and see if they are offering any specials. I've been able to get some better rates directly through hotels, even though they don't appear on their website. In any case, you can try those and check the fine-print before you reserve.Cheers. alfbo
I would place a bid through EasyclickTravel.com (use the link in the list of affiliate links in the SUPPORT FORUM) and reservations can be cancelled if at least 3 days prior. Link to comment
