DeltaPurser
They are turning this place into a condo-hotel and are in the process of painting the exterior right now. I have no clue as to what will be done to the rooms or if this has even yet begun, but if I were you, I'd make a point of asking when you check in to make sure you get a room away from any noice. And make sure to take the WaterTaxi while you visit our beautiful city! It stops at the hotel and will take you into downtown and the Las Olas area where most of the restaurants and shops are...DeltaPurser :) Link to comment
mmermans
I have to agree with DeltaPurser - the WaterTaxi is fabulous. You can get on and off at any of the stops all along the intracoastal waterway all day long for $5 (special rates for 3 day passes). And while you're on, the staff provide a wonderful tourist commentary on all the homes and yachts on the waterway, current info and history. It really is amazing. We're going to visit FLL next February, and I can hardly contain my excitement at riding the watertaxi again! Don't miss it! Link to comment
