photomikey
Hi,I'm meeting my brothers in Vegas for a Fri/Sat/Sun stay in April - the weekend before NAB. I bid Strip North 4* to $110 and got nowhere - I was hoping for a nice, big-name casino hotel on the strip. Trump is my Vegas standby, but wasn't perfect for this trip (off-strip, no casino), but after no luck @ 4* $110, I was willing to compromise... bid 5* to $110 on both Strip North and South, no luck.I will consider bidding 4* Strip South, but am not crazy about getting the Westin. Before I do this, any suggestions, or non-Priceline deals out there? AaronJB
Welcome to Betterbidding. :)What would be your desired budget per night? Additionally, are you seeing any listings of interest on HOTWIRE when you search for your dates? Please use the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches. Link to comment
photomikey
Budget is $110/night + tax. Nothing great on HOTWIRE at this point. Link to comment
headtrip
That is Spring Break week. I checked rates via Travelworm - they usually have the best hotel rates other than PRICELINE for Las Vegas and everything is averaging $120 Fri, $180 Sat, and $120 Sunday for a 4 star hotel. I'd say your chances of getting it on PRICELINE is not good. I'd reccomend if you have time, make a backup reservation that you can cancel, and then you can keep trying via PRICELINE without worrying you won't have a place to stay.Make sure you use the Betterbidding links for your reservation no matter which way you go. photomikey
Ended up booking Imperial Palace off the NAB website (my conference, but open to anyone) for ~$55/ni, noticed many other options were availible (Paris, NYNY) at prices much lower than any of the websites or booking direct. Good for anyone going to Vegas this particular week. Link to comment
