Hotwire Hotel: San Antonio Suites near Riverwalk

Hubby, two teenage boys and I spending march 20-26 in San Antonio. Never been there. Spring break get away. Want to get a great deal on a suite. Cannot tell if suites available for hotels, not just chains. Any recommendations on hotels or way to get a suite on betterbidding? thanks

PRICELINE only guartee a room for two adults and that could mean one bed only.

So your best option here is to search HOTWIRE for your stay, although note the "Suite" icon is often for an all-suite hotel such as the Embassy Suites, Springhill Suites, Summerfield Suites, etc, which are usually not full 1BR/2BR suites with separate rooms with a closing door, but more often a 3/4 wall dividing one section of the room from another.

I'll add that if the above type properties don't work for your needs, you may also want to consider using PRICELINE / HOTWIRE for two rooms, as that can often be cheaper than booking one suite room direct (although note that if you want the rooms to be connecting you'll need to call the hotel you receive and enter a request for adjoining rooms, and there is no guarantee that they would be able to accomodate this request)
