crystal525
I know that I can get packages from Priceline from Washington, DC area pretty reasonably right now (of course without knowing flight times--not too important since we'll be there 7 nights--did this a few years ago with no problems). i.e., the Luxor for $494, Treasure Island $527, MGM Grand $560--per person--7 nights in a hotel, and round trip air. There are 2 of us. But--right now I can get Southwest direct flights for $438 (total including fees) and am interested in seeing if there's a chance I might be able to get a better hotel deal. Considering I can book us on Priceline for under $1000 already, I'd like to say that I want to spend $500 for 7 nights. I want to be on the strip, and having stayed at the Luxor for 2 prior years, the south end is fine with me. I do not want the Trump as my other half is a smoker and we like to gamble and want an on-site casino!Suggestions? PRICELINE or HOTWIRE? Bid now? Wait? I'm a newbie so bear with me!Thanks in advance! thereuare
Since you don't want the Trump (and i assume the Westin either) PRICELINE will not be a good option for this stay since you won't be able to avoid these properties. This leaves HOTWIRE as an option, but everything currently offered there at the 4* or above level is over your $500 all-in budget. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. (even if you book a PRICELINE package)Let us know if your parameters change and/or we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
crystal525
I will use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links. It seems I'll do better with a package then! I'll watch for a week or so-- Link to comment

Suarush4u
best deal I found (we booked last night) is at treasure island. 79/night sunday-thursday so all your dates will be reasonably priced except for friday and saturday. It's on their website. Link to comment
