Priceline Hotel: 4* Philadelphia (Downtown) Hyatt Penns Landing

If you don't mind staying cut off at the water here is the best way to get into Philly's newest hotel at $43/night on Priceline. You should do this at LEAST a week in advance of your arrival date.

1) Check Hyatt's website for availabilty on the nights you wish to stay at the hotel. If the rates are below 160/night for a regular room you will likely have a shot on Priceline.

2) Go to Priceline and bid $43. If Priceline has it AT ALL you will get your room.

I travel to Philly weekly for business and have gotten a room dozen's of times using this method.

TIP: You can also get Hyatt GoldPassport reward stays and nights credit if you use the hotels internet access (9.99) or get room service (parking and sundries will not get you anywhere). I have made Diamond status doing this.
