dcon1229 Posted December 15, 2009 Report Share Posted December 15, 2009 I tried all last week to book a three or four star hotel in Miami downtown for pre-cruise and went as hight as 63. but was rejected (even for a 3 star). I didn't want to go any higher. Hotwire lowest rate showed a 4 star in downtown for 83. So, I waited. Today I saw a 3 star Miami downtown hotel on Hotwire for 59. and was going to take it, but tried once last time on Priceline this morning for a 4 star. I bid for a strictly 4 star downtown area for 60. and was accepted first bid. If you have the time, sometimes it pays to just wait it out and keep trying. I used the PRICELINE link on this site.
