Priceline Hotel: 4* Los Angeles (Downtown) Sheraton Los Angeles

I usually get pretty good prices when I bid for downtown LA hotels...

but priceline/hotwire doesn't give me good results for the 8/11/2009-12/11/2009 for 4 and above star hotels in Downtown LA (next week)

Any ideas?

I tried 85 for for the 4 star (Downtown LA); what do you think I should try in order the get the 6/11-12/11 booked downtown for a 4 hotel?

is there btw a hotel in downtown 4 start and above which is NOT the Bonaventure and does accept reasonable prices?

Both periods looks expensive for DT. I don't know your budget but if you're looking for ca $85 would i lower the *rating or look at a new zone. HOTWIRE list a 3.5* at $129/$149 for DT.

All Los Angeles PRICELINE hotels are found in this list. Westin and Omni is the most frequent DT hotels. I would visit the hotels sites to check the rates and inventory to get a feeling for your stay.

This had FItness Center, Resturant, Business Center and the hotel was eventually Sheraton Downtown.
