Does anyone know what this hotel might be in the Carmel Valley? My first guess was Bernardus Lodge, but I think it is listed as a 4.5 star...

The Bernardus Lodge is currently rated 5* by HOTWIRE so that would be a reasonable guess... although the Vacation Pacakge product currently shows more amenities than this. Are you willing to spend nearly $300/nite for this property?

It's my 10th wedding anniversary, so maybe, but not sure. For what they give you it does seem like a good opportunity (they normally charge more than 500 per night). Didn't understand what you said about the amenities. In the Hotwire Hotel List you have the same 8 amenities I listed.

If you go to HOTWIRE and search for a vacation package the Bernardus Lodge appears with the amenities above plus two additional ones (Boutique and Resort, iirc)

I need help to ID a 4* hotel in Monterrey fot the nights mentioned above with the following amenities:

The property above has not yet been identified, but if you change your search parametes to 2adults/2children a new 4* hotel appears in this zone at $113/nite with: Oceanfront, Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Interent, Business, Golf, Spa and a TripAdvisor rating of 4.5/5.0

This is a match for the well reviewed (#1 rated hotel at TA) InterContinental The Clement Monterey so that would be my best guess.

Take a look at HOTWIRE's vacation packages (air + hotel). Use any origin city, enter your dates, and look at the various offerings for Monterey. There are 2 four-star hotels in the display that are designated as boutique hotels. It's often customary for Hotwire to list more (additional) amenities in the vacation packages than they do in the opaque hotel-only product. My guess is that the hotel you're looking at is one of the two boutique hotels displayed in the vacation packages. Also, take notice that the hotel you're looking at is currently priced at $116 per night for your travel dates, while it was $109 when you posted a few days ago. Displaying different prices is a normal thing and doesn't necessarily mean what is displaying today is a different hotel than you were seeing on Sept 3.

Above we've pointed out what is believed to be the #1 user reviewed hotel in the same zone and for the same price as the hotel you asked about... not sure how much 'better' of a hotel or deal you would want.
