Hotwire Hotel: 3* downtown Toronto

For June 29-July 4th, 2005 we are looking for a downtown hotel near the Skydome.

Hotwire has a 3* with Restaurant, Pool, Fitness Center, High-speed Internet Access, golf nearby and tennis nearby.

No similar listing on the list - Any ideas what this hotel is?

Rates seem very high for this date... is there an event in town that you know of? There doesn't seem to be a lot of inventory available as there usually is so my guess is that it is just too early.

Are you actually considering spending this much on a hotel or are you looking for a double the difference guarantee?

There is a HUGE convention in town, that is actually why we are going. The rates for the convention hotels are high too. Any idea what this place is?

I don't know the identification of this property, and i'll try to look at it further if you'd like, but i'm not so sure it's worthwhile to do so....

I just checked the COURTYARD by MARRIOTT DOWNTOWN for these dates:

From Hotel's Webiste:

6/29-7/1 = $123/nite (US)

7/1 = sold-out

7/2-7/4 = $155/nite (US)

From Expedia:

6/29-7/4 = $142/nite

(same rates available for individual nites as well)

So you could book 6/29-7/1 thru MARRIOTT's webiste at $123/nite.

Then book 7/1-7/4 thru Expedia's website for $142/nite.

REVIEWS are very good and it's about $100/nite cheaper than the current Hotwire offering.
